I have better cholesterol!
I gave blood a few days ago and looked at my results today. I've never looked at my results before and the cool thing with Carter BloodCare, it shows all the times I've given blood. I've given a total of 5 and here are my results!!

I've gained weight!!!
Sorry it's been so long...I think I've neglected my blog because I've gained weight. I am now 229! I was 217 in February but today I start another new journey of clean eating/paleo-ish! I am only human and I know I will mess up and get off track but enough is enough and I'm taking back control! I need to adjust my lifestyle once again and start eating healthier and working out more.

Update..
Remember I was going to do Paleo?! Well that lasted about a week and a half and I lost about 4 pounds....sadly, I didn't stick with it. oops. In other news I was slacking there for a while...cheating a little too often this month as well as not working out as much :( I know these things happen but I'm getting back on track and it's pretty tough.
Back at the gym...after way too long!
Doing couch to 5k again since I'm doing my first 5k in 10 days!! ahh! Top pic was the day before and bottom was yesterday.
In other news...I know this is a long journey and there will be times when we get "off-track" the important part is getting your butt back into gear and "Doing Work" I am still a long way from my goal and I'm so glad you're here for the ride!

Paleo
So on Monday I started the Paleo diet (it's like the caveman diet...fruits, veggies, meat, fish, seeds/nuts, water...basically what a person could hunt and gather no dairy, bread, refined sugar (sweets, cookies, candy, etc)
Since Monday I've lost 4 1/2 pounds! It is really helping me be conscious of what I eat and is allowing me to eat better food for my body. I am doing a modified version of Paleo because I am making protein shakes with my meal plans.

As of today I am at my lowest weight!
That's a total of 74.8 pounds lost!
I'm trying to get to 210 by May 7, which is my birthday!
My ultimate goal is to get to 192 which would be a grand total of 100 pounds lost!

Losing inches!
I took measurements of my body about 3ish weeks after I started my healthy lifestyle a year ago. I took those same measurements today and was so excited to see the results!

A year ago today..I joined my gym :)
It feels just like yesterday that I started working out at my gym! A year has gone by so fast! If you are wanting to change your life...Start today! If I can do it, so can you!! It is so worth it and before you know it, a year will go by and your life will be drastically changed!
I have quite a bit more to go, but I'm so excited for this journey!
I was never able to fit into Victoria's Secret Pink Brand clothes, and here I am today in a size large pant :)
