more poses and trying to jog!



I'm trying to be a more consistent jogger because I'm doing a 5k in February and you have to have a 15 min/mile pace which right now I have a pace of about 15:30 including walking. Trying to jog/walk every day or at least every other day so I can become better :)

Yoga challenges and more!

I'm doing two different yoga challenges on instagram so here are a few of the poses :) 






I'm also trying to be a better runner/jogger so I've started this plan to help. Today was week one, day one. I walked for 2 minutes at a speed of 3.1 on the treadmill and then ran for 1 min at a speed of 5.5 for a total of 21 minutes. Haven't been to the gym in over a week :( felt good to be back to it today doing cardio and weights!!

My body is changing!

Not sure if you can tell, but I'm gaining some definition in my arms!! 



One day at a time!! 

I've been working out every day doing cardio and weights :) 
Elliptical, stairmaster, treadmill (walk/jog), free weights (dumbbells, etc) Leg press, calf press, and using the machines at my gym. I change it up so I don't get bored and my goal is to burn at least 100 calories every ten minutes and if I don't, I'm not mad because you'll never regret any workout!

Two-a-days and losing the lb's!

I've been working out everyday and almost twice a day :) I've been watching what I eat and drinking lots of water. I know I've gained back some weight but I'm determined to get it back off plus much more!

I used to only do 50 lbs and now I can do 90 lbs! 

Last I weighed myself was on Tuesday August 19 and I was 247.8 and this morning (Saturday, August 30) I was 242.4 a difference of 5.4 lbs!!! I lost it the healthy way so I know it's staying off!

Getting back in the groove!!

Trying really hard to get back to it and stick with it!! Really watching what I eat and how much of it! I think it's sticking in my mind again that I don't need tons of food, just what is necessary for being healthy. Here are some pics of this last week and my work outs :) 





My encouragement to you would be "KEEP GOING" no matter how far you've jumped off track, you can get back on!! I'm living proof! I've gained weight but I'm determined to get it off, again plus much more!

Working out, Eating well!!

I feel like I've been back in the "groove" of things. I'm being consistent on exercising and eating better with portion control!! Here are some pictures I've posted on my Instagram. For the month of May, I've joined a challenge to do at least a mile of something. I've walked/jogged around my neighborhood as well as gone to the gym and it feels so good being consistent!

The Ugly Truth.

I've gained weight. I'm here to start it all again. I'm using these shorts as motivation. Ready to be focused again...eating RIGHT and working out. I've seemed to lost some control of what I eat and how much of it I eat. Here's to the journey!
