A YEAR AGO!!!

A year ago today I started living my healthy lifestyle! This year has gone by so fast!! God has been so so good to me in allowing me to be able to endure this journey!

Operation Do Work

So I am on a mission to lose at least 10 pounds by Christmas Eve! I have gained a couple pounds because I have been slacking on the eating and working out part. Due mostly to me being sick for the last 3 weeks :( I still have a sore throat..but no excuses!! It's time to DO WORK! Here are some pics!

Finally! Both shirt and leggings are a size large! I've ALWAYS been a 2XL in shirts and leggings at Old Navy! No more X's in front of my L's ;)

I know, I know it's been awhile!!

Lots to update y'all on!! :)

I've lost 68.4 pounds!!




I've always wanted to make a tutu and take pics..well I did and with the help of my friend Samantha, my tutu was made :)

Also I no longer have some hindrances: 
-I went to six flags...no problems at all fitting on the rides!
-No longer do I fear I won't fit into a booth at a restaurant...table is not too close to my stomach
-A bath towel I have now fits completely around me...this happened the other day and I got so excited! 
-I cross my legs all the time now..you know the way a lady should sit?! 
-All the jeans are too big!! Dresses, shirts, and even underwear are getting too big!! :)

Down 60.6 pounds!!








My goal is to lose at least 32 more pounds by the end of this year! Don't worry, I'm not stopping there! Just a goal to achieve by the end of 2012 :)

Also, I can jog a mile straight without stopping! I still can't believe it! I never thought I would be able to do that! God is so so good and reminds me how strong I truly can be!

The 230s...what?!

Hey y'all! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile! I have lots of pics to share and some awesome news! I am in the 230s!! I am still in shock!! Something about these numbers really shows me that I am doing it! So here are a few pics of how my weight has changed recently :)




I am down 59.4 pounds!!! It is all so surreal! I honestly cannot remember when I was in the 230s..I'm guessing middle school like 6th/7th grade! Crazy huh?!

I couldn't fit into these jean shorts a few months ago..couldn't even button them and now they fit!

God is so so good! I am so blessed that He is giving me the strength and motivation to become a healthier person. I know God created me for big things..and if my weight loss journey can be a small reflection of that, than I know I am truly doing His will :)

Don't get discouraged!

Hey there! So I recently went on a road trip out to the hill country in Texas. I was slacking a little and not being as conscious of what I was eating (heck, I was on vacation, give me a break!)  I still worked out though, yes at the hotel!! :) Anyway, for a couple weeks really I had been slacking in the food department...even though I would still work out. I gained a few pounds but got back on track yesterday. I'm already back down to my weight in my last post! woo! I received encouragement from my friends to not let this set back keep me down for long. We are all going to have days, maybe weeks when we're not on our A game..but that's okay! As long as you jump right back on track!

Last but not least, and the one i'm most excited about! I beat my best mile time by 45 seconds...also this is the fastest I've EVER been able to go a mile :) I was lucky if I could finish the mile in middle school in 16-18 minutes!
